Privacy Policy
This policy explains how FG Enterprises LLC, doing business as Construct Pro ("we", "us", or "Construct Pro"), collects, uses and protects information when you use the Construct Pro software and website (the "Service").
The short version. We collect what we need to run the Service and nothing more. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise, and we do not share your business records with anyone except the service providers required to operate the product.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address and password. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider; we never see or store them in readable form.
- Company details — business name, location, and the details you choose to add such as address, phone, license number and logo.
- Business content — the records you create in the Service, including customers, leads, quotes, projects, invoices, payments, subcontractors, notes, call logs and uploaded photos or documents.
- Billing details — handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription status and the last four digits of your card, never the full number.
Information collected automatically
- Technical error reports — when something fails, we record the error, the time, your account and company identifiers, the page, and your browser type, so we can diagnose and fix it.
- Local storage — the Service stores a copy of your company's data in your browser so it loads quickly and works during brief connection problems. This stays on your device.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
2. Information about your customers
Construct Pro stores information about your customers because you put it there. In that relationship you are the data controller and we act as a processor on your behalf. We only use it to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store it, and for handling your customers' requests about their own information.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the Service;
- To authenticate you and keep your company's data separated from every other company's;
- To take automatic backups so your data can be recovered;
- To process subscription payments;
- To diagnose faults and improve reliability;
- To contact you about your account, billing, security or material changes to the Service.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use your business data to advertise to you.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the Service:

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
5. How your data is protected
- All traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and data is encrypted at rest by our providers.
- Server-side security rules enforce that a company's records can only be read or changed by that company's own members — this is enforced on the server, not just in the app.
- Within a company, owners control what each team member can see.
- A full backup of each company's data is taken automatically every day and retained for 14 days.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you promptly as required by law.
6. How long we keep information
- Business data is kept while your account is active.
- After cancellation, data is retained for at least 30 days so you can export it, then may be permanently deleted.
- Automatic backups roll off after 14 days.
- Billing records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and export — download a complete copy of your data at any time from within the Service.
- Correction — edit your account and business information directly in the Service.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
- Marketing — we only email you about your account, billing, security and material product changes. Any promotional email will include an unsubscribe link.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honour these requests regardless of location. To exercise any of them, email info@getconstructpro.com.
8. Children
The Service is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. International users
The Service is operated from the United States and data is stored on servers in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you consent to that transfer.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or within the Service before they take effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
